Role
Lead UX Designer (Google FTE)
Contribution
As the sole UX designer on this initiative, I led the end-to-end UX strategy and design for a new platform experience supporting private cloud infrastructure operators. I collaborated closely with PM and engineering to clarify user requirements, uncover operational workflows, and translate highly technical needs into a coherent, intuitive management interface that integrated seamlessly with the broader Private Cloud ecosystem.
I partnered with a UX Researcher to validate the interaction model and workflows through targeted usability testing. Insights from that research allowed me to refine the design for clarity, scalability, and speed of implementation — critical for meeting customer timelines and unlocking business value.
I drove the final UX through reviews and design approvals, ensuring the team could move quickly toward delivery and unblock high-priority customer engagements.
Impact
The launch of the Infrastructure Management platform unlocked $XX billion in customer opportunities, enabling Google Cloud to meet key data sovereignty requirements and expand adoption of its Private Cloud offering.
